On the one hand you have Laird Hamilton the All American hero and death defying big wave surfer. With homes in Maui and Malibu, a modeling career and beautiful family, the respect of his peers and legendary status set for life, Hamilton has clearly made the most of his God given talents and inner steel as the following video will atest.
On the other hand you have Albert the Penguin and a race to the death. You decide.
On this evidence I would say a draw this week. Both defied near certain death to come out smiling on the other side more spiritually enriched and enhanced than minutes before.
