Due to the increased demand for Shark Fin Soup over the past decade the incidence of shark finning is ever increasing in number. Some humans are showing themselves to be the real monsters of the deep with sharks having good reason to fear man more than man has to fear from sharks (cue blatant plug for the Man Vs Shark infographic I made).
And if you’re still not convinced watch this video and try not to cry big hot, wet tears of despair for our short sighted ways of treating these amazing creatures. In short some humans suck big balls.
